Hyper Japan Part 3 - Food and Drink

And so my final post from this weekend's Hyper Japan exhibition. This time focussing on something you couldn't escape at the expo, food.

The food area at Hyper Japan was constantly busy, but I managed to battle my way through to see what was on offer. I can't say I knew much about Japanese food but I sampled some takoyaki which was delicious and all the rest looked equally appetising.

As well as food, there were stalls for a variety of Japanese beer, sake and umeshu (a liqueur made from the plum-like ume fruit).
